Levels II, the sequel to the 2016 hit Levels, is a new minimalist dungeon crawler RPG puzzle game for Android. If you're familiar with the original, you'll recognize the core gameplay, but with significant enhancements. Read on to discover what makes Levels II a compelling upgrade.
Levels II presents a dungeon brimming with treasure, guarded by monsters. Progress requires strategic planning and careful combat. You manage a grid of colored tiles: blue (adventurers), yellow (treasure), and red (monsters).
Unlike the random tile generation in the first game, Levels II introduces a strategic element. Tile color and level are directly influenced by your moves. Defeating a red tile spawns a yellow one, creating a dynamic and interconnected puzzle. It's no longer just about merging tiles; it's about calculated actions and resource management.
While merging blue tiles, collecting yellow ones, and battling red monsters remains central, Levels II offers richer rewards than simply reaching level 9. You'll find more control, more strategic depth, and the return of helpful mechanics like the Thunder Stone (for those moments when you're stuck) and hidden panels with unique patterns.
