Mawile Debuts in Pokemon Sleep with Special Cooking Event This Month

by Ethan Jun 02,2025

If you're deep into the world of Pokémon Sleep, you’ll be thrilled to hear about the upcoming additions to your nocturnal adventures. Following the excitement with Murkrow and Honchkrow two weeks ago, another Pokémon is set to join the mix this month. Mawile, the Steel-type Pokémon, is making its debut appearance, and it’s time to adjust your sleep schedule to meet this intriguing addition.

Starting June 9th, Mawile will begin appearing in your research, allowing you to encounter this fascinating creature during your slumber. To increase your chances of meeting Mawile, you can use Pokémon Incense starting at 3:00 p.m., particularly at locations such as Greengrass Isle, Taupe Hollow, and Old Gold Power Plant.

Mawile boasts a unique Slumbering Sleep Type and features the Hyper Cutter (Ingredient Draw S) as its main skill. With this ability, Mawile can collect one randomly selected ingredient, and occasionally, you might find yourself gathering more than expected.

Speaking of ingredients, the Packed Portions Cooking Week event also begins on June 9th, highlighting helper Pokémon with the Ingredients specialty. During this week, the strength gained from cooking dishes will receive a 1.5x multiplier. Additionally, several Pokémon will have a slightly higher appearance rate until June 16th, including Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle, Gastly, Pinsir, Eevee, Dratini, Wooper, Murkrow, Aron, Heracross, Delibird, Happiny, Sprigatito, and Fuecoco.

Don’t forget that you can also encounter Shiny Pokémon in Pokémon Sleep—a delightful surprise for players who keep exploring.

If you’re ready to dive into all the excitement, download Pokémon Sleep for free on Google Play or the App Store, where you’ll also find in-app purchases.
