Osaka Metro Quester Android Pre-Reg Starts

In April, KEMCO introduced Metro Quester, a dungeon-crawling hack-and-slash RPG. Now they're preparing to launch its sequel, Metro Quester | Osaka. As the name suggests, the setting shifts from Tokyo to Osaka's post-apocalyptic landscape.

Ready for Another Adventure?

The story now unfolds in Osaka, renowned as Japan's "city of water." Players will explore this transformed metropolis featuring destructible walls, monster nests, secret vaults, and food stockpiles. Your survival depends on collecting Purification Fuel while scavenging sufficient food supplies.

Metro Quester | Osaka introduces 32 unique characters across 8 distinct classes including Detonator, Buddhist, Professor, Stealer, Scientist, Mobile Police, Officer, and Ranger.

The combat system breaks from traditional turn-based mechanics. Players can queue up to three actions per turn using Action Points, but enemies possess the same capability—sometimes overlapping turns strategically. The innovative Hate mechanic further influences battlefield dynamics by determining enemy aggression patterns.

Beyond combat, players can scavenge equipment from fallen foes or hidden vaults. Collected gear can be upgraded, modified creatively, or dismantled for valuable components.

The game features an extensive bestiary filled with terrifying creatures such as Beyond Inedible, Bloodsucker Bat, Viral Towering Roundleaf, Thorn Comber, Outburst Shroom, Abnormal Antlion, Caustic Flesh Wall, and Scavenger Mawshroom.

Key Enhancements in Metro Quester | Osaka

New gameplay elements include navigable waterways via canoe and fresh quest-giving characters. A prequel map provides deeper insight into Osaka's transformation into these dangerous ruins.

Players now enjoy greater customization with selectable starting parties, complementing the existing NEW GAME+ mode for enhanced replayability. The game supports English and Japanese language options, though controller compatibility remains unavailable.

Pre-registration is currently open on the Google Play Store ahead of the July 31, 2025 launch.
