Remember those themed popcorn buckets? The Minecraft movie is following suit with its own line of collectible concessions. Images from DiscussingFilm on X/Twitter reveal a TNT box popcorn bucket and a chicken jockey drink cup. These appear to be exclusive to Cinemark theaters in the U.S., but other theaters may offer their own Minecraft themed goodies.

This follows a trend started by the Rise of Skywalker R2-D2 popcorn bucket in 2019. While perhaps a bit overdone now, and pricey, these novelty items clearly encourage moviegoers to experience films in theaters.

Directed by Jared Hess and written by Chris Bowman, Hubbel Palmer, Neil Widener, Gavin James, and Chris Galletta (story by Bowman, Palmer, and Allison Schroeder), the Minecraft movie follows a group unexpectedly transported into the Minecraft world. They must rely on Steve (Jack Black) to navigate this blocky landscape. Starring alongside Black are Jason Momoa, Danielle Brooks, Emma Myers, Jennifer Coolidge, and Sebastian Hansen. The film hits theaters April 4, 2025.
