At Pocket Gamer, our first glimpse of new game releases often comes through unexpected channels. It might be a surprise media campaign for a launch or a major update that catches our attention. However, with Webzen's upcoming idle RPG, MU: Pocket Knights, I believe this marks the first time a game's logo has been our initial point of contact!
All jokes aside, MU: Pocket Knights is intriguing for reasons that go far beyond its stylish new logo. As you may have surmised, this title is a spin-off from the enduringly popular Korean RPG MU: Online, finally bringing its action into the world of idle RPGs.
MU: Pocket Knights aims to blend the effortless progression and engagement of idle games with the depth fans expect from MU: Online. This means offering the kind of rich content and character development found in traditional MMORPGs, but within the accessible idle genre.

MU: Pocket Knights is also designed to be welcoming for newcomers, as this spin-off introduces a completely new cast of charming, adorable characters. This ensures long-time MU: Online fans won't see their beloved heroes reinterpreted in a chibi style, while new players can dive in without any prior knowledge of the lore.
At the moment, details about the upcoming launch remain limited. However, Webzen plans to follow a growing trend among developers by aiming for a simultaneous global release (excluding specific regions) right from the start. Stay tuned, as we'll share more updates as soon as we have them!
