- Yoshiaki Koizumi confirming Mario "carries a torch" for Peach
- That entire cringe-worthy but undeniably romantic Odyssey proposal attempt

And now we're supposed to believe Mario's just her platonic handyman-slash-rescue service? Next you'll tell me the crown isn't really a princess thing and Bowser's just really into interior decorating.

At this point I'm waiting for them to release a statement clarifying that Samus's power suit is actually just a very committed friendship metaphor.
