"Patch Quest: New Roguelite Game Features Bullet Hell and Monster Taming"

Patch Quest, the latest Android release from Lychee Game and brought to you by Crunchyroll, is now available for download. Originally launched in PC early access back in May 2021, it saw a full release in March 2023. This genre-blending title combines elements of roguelike, bullet hell, metroidvania, and monster-taming into one uniquely addictive gameplay experience.

Explore a Shuffling Patchwork Maze Full of Monsters

Set in the whimsical world of Patchlantis—an island stitched together from countless patches—Patch Quest offers a fresh adventure with every playthrough. Each run reshuffles the island’s layout, ensuring no two explorations ever unfold the same way.

Your main companion throughout this chaotic journey is your lasso—a versatile tool that doubles as your lifeline. With it, you can capture over 50 unique monster species (and even more subspecies), each offering distinct abilities that help you navigate the unpredictable terrain or survive intense combat scenarios.

Every creature in Patch Quest can be tamed, mounted, and used for traversal. Some soar through the skies, others swim beneath the surface, dig underground, or dash through narrow gaps. Take the Buzzerker, which transforms into a living harpoon, or the Sandamander, capable of burrowing to safety. The Torrentoise defends itself with a reflective shell, while the Combusdile creates a fiery barrier to keep enemies at bay.

How’s the Combat?

Combat in Patch Quest is fast-paced and packed with intensity. Expect a relentless barrage of enemy projectiles flooding the screen as you dodge, attack, and utilize mounted abilities. Even failed runs aren’t in vain—you’ll gain valuable knowledge, discover shortcuts, improve your pet roster, or better understand how to conquer the island’s challenges.

Scattered across the island are over 200 types of plants and minerals. Many fruits can be blended into powerful buffs using ammo smoothies on the go. You can also use these ingredients to unlock new gear, expanding your movement options and strategic depth.

If you're a Crunchyroll subscriber, don’t miss out—head over to the Google Play Store and download [ttpp] today to start your adventure in Patchlantis.
