First Announcement From Western Account

Persona 5: The Phantom X (P5X) is set to broaden its horizons with a dedicated social media account for its upcoming English version. This move hints at an imminent global release, and fans might get the official release date during the livestream scheduled for May 15. The announcement came via a Twitter (X) post from P5X Official West, setting the stage for the livestream at 7:00 AM PT on Atlus' official western YouTube channel.

The livestream will be packed with special guests from the game's cast, including Kaede Hondo, the voice of Motoha Arai, and Chika Anzai, the voice of Yui. They will be joined by key figures from the development team, such as P5X Chief Producer Yohsuke Uda, Development Director Yusuke Nitta from ATLUS, as well as Development Producer Jun Matsunaga and Live Ops Director Yuta Sakai from SEGA.

Originally released in select regions in April 2024, P5X has been the subject of much speculation regarding its Western release. The developers hinted at plans for English localization during the game's first anniversary livestream. In their Fiscal Year 2025 Results Presentation on May 12, Sega Sammy Holdings, the Japanese global holding company, included Persona 5: The Phantom X in their roll-out schedule, targeting a release "In or after FY2026/3" (April 1, 2025, to March 31, 2026), with a specific aim for this summer.
