Since its launch over a month ago, fans of *The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered* have been eagerly awaiting news on a new patch from developer Bethesda. The community's frustration is palpable, especially on platforms like Reddit, where players have been vocal about the issues they want addressed and the features they wish to see added.

While Bethesda did release a hotfix just three days after the game's launch, it unfortunately introduced new problems, such as the removal of upscaling options. A subsequent patch attempted to rectify this, but some players reported needing a cumbersome workaround to make it function properly.

Despite these efforts, the game remains plagued with bugs, including the notorious Kvatch bug that can soft-lock players during a quest. Although the community has devised temporary solutions, the developers have yet to officially address this issue. Fans continue to hold out hope for a comprehensive patch, listing desired improvements such as inventory subcategories and enhanced controller shortcuts.

Console players, in particular, are feeling the pinch, as recent reports highlight ongoing performance issues on PlayStation and Xbox. These problems, which seem to worsen over time, are believed to stem from memory management issues, leading to persistent glitches and stutters in specific game areas. Bethesda has yet to respond to these concerns, leaving players to seek their own solutions.
In an effort to engage with the community, Bethesda has opened a suggestions channel on their official Discord server, encouraging fans to share feedback and ideas for future updates.

In a lighter note, one player, Vaverka, shared a unique experience on Reddit. He inadvertently inflicted himself with a paralysis spell lasting 2,097,762,304 seconds, or 66 in-game years. While this self-inflicted curse has amused the community, with some jokingly comparing it to the reign of Emperor Uriel Septim, Vaverka has yet to reveal the spell's recipe.

As players continue to uncover both the game's features and its bugs, the community remains hopeful that Bethesda will soon address their concerns and enhance *The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered*. With the game celebrating 20 years since its original release, fans are eager for improvements that will honor the legacy of this beloved title.
*The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered* is available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S (and included in Xbox Game Pass), and PC. Stay tuned to our updates for the latest news on the game and its much-anticipated patches.
