Pokémon Go Global Go Fest 2025: Serene Retreat and Ancient Giants

Pokémon GO is setting the stage for an exciting journey leading up to the global GO Fest 2025, packed with new themed events and the return of legendary giants, including some Gigantamax Pokémon. Here’s what you can look forward to!

What Are the Events in Pokémon GO Global GO Fest 2025?

The first event, Serene Retreat, runs from May 30th to June 3rd, 2025. During this time, you can encounter Pokémon like Chansey, Marill, Furfrou, Cutiefly, Morelull, Komala, and Hatenna. Keep your eyes peeled for a chance to find shiny Snorlax or Chimecho as well.

Making its debut in Pokémon GO, Gigantamax Rillaboom will appear in six-star Max Battles from May 31st to June 1st, 2025. This marks the first time this powerful Pokémon will be available in the game.

The main event, Pokémon GO Fest 2025 Global, is set for June 28th and 29th. This worldwide celebration invites millions of trainers to join in for free from anywhere. Don't miss the official reveal right here:

Purchasing a ticket to Pokémon GO Fest 2025 Global grants you access to additional perks, including an encounter with the Mythical Pokémon Volcanion, which makes its global debut after appearing in Osaka, Jersey City, and Paris.

Leading up to the main event, Ancients Recovered takes place from June 23rd to June 27th, 2025. This event features the return of the Legendary Titans and their elemental relatives. Each day will introduce a new five-star raid boss, with a special Raid Hour from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. local time:

• June 23rd: Regirock, Regice, and Registeel
• June 24th: Regieleki
• June 25th: Regidrago
• June 26th: Regigigas
• June 27th: A grand finale with all the legendary Pokémon returning

Pokémon caught during the Ancients Recovered event will have exclusive moves:

• Regirock: Earthquake
• Regice: Thunder
• Registeel: Zap Cannon
• Regieleki: Thunder Cage
• Regidrago: Dragon Breath and Dragon Energy
• Regigigas: Crush Grip
