The Sims 4 continues to surprise its players with the gradual return of beloved features, and it seems another highly requested addition might be on the way. The recent reappearance of burglars has fueled speculation that this is just the beginning of Maxis reintroducing popular elements.
Data miners have uncovered evidence suggesting the potential for customizable character aging. While not currently functional within the game, code hinting at aging sliders has been discovered within the game files. At this point, it's essentially a blueprint—unexplored code waiting to be implemented.

Dedicated modders are now investigating the possibility of activating these aging sliders, though there's no guarantee of success. The feature may be incomplete, or it may eventually become an official addition from Maxis. Regardless, the discovery has ignited considerable excitement among fans eager for enhanced character customization options in future updates.
