"Puzzle & Dragons 0 Launches on Android with Innovative Root Tree System"

Puzzle & Dragons 0 is now live, offering fans a fresh way to experience the classic orb-matching gameplay that made the series a mobile phenomenon. Developed by GungHo Entertainment—the creative force behind the original title—this new installment brings a modern twist while staying true to its roots.

What’s New in Puzzle & Dragons 0?

Since its debut in 2012, the core concept of Puzzle & Dragons has remained simple yet addictive: match orbs to unleash attacks and defeat enemies. That same satisfying loop returns in Puzzle & Dragons 0, where matching three or more orbs of the same color triggers powerful attacks. The more combos you chain together, the more devastating your damage—sometimes letting you clear the board and eliminate enemies in one epic turn.

But this time around, there's a greater emphasis on flexibility and team customization. Puzzle & Dragons 0 supports both vertical and horizontal screen orientations, giving players more control over how they play. The game also deepens the strategic layer with an evolved team-building system.

A standout addition is the Root Tree evolution mechanic. This feature allows you to shape your units based on your preferred playstyle, guiding their development to suit your team’s needs. Once your monsters are leveled up, you can fine-tune your party by selecting favorites that synergize well together.

And Just Like the Original

Just like in earlier versions, you can collect materials from dungeons and craft unique creatures using Crystals and Mana earned through battle. The focus isn’t just about collecting the strongest monsters—it's about how you raise, evolve, and personalize them to create the ultimate team.

Puzzle & Dragons 0 is available as a free-to-play title with optional in-app purchases. It launched globally across more than 150 countries and supports 11 languages. You can download it today from the Google Play Store.
