Rainbow Six Siege's 10th Anniversary Brings Massive "Siege X" Upgrade!
Following a trend among popular esports titles, Ubisoft made a significant announcement just before the Rainbow Six Siege world championship grand finals. With the game entering its tenth year, expectations were high, and Ubisoft delivered!
Introducing Siege X – a substantial overhaul of Rainbow Six Siege. Developers clarified this isn't a full sequel, nor a minor update. Instead, it promises a transformation akin to Counter-Strike 2's relationship with Global Offensive: a major upgrade that feels like a new game while preserving player progress and data.
A dedicated three-hour presentation on March 13th in Atlanta, featuring a live audience, will unveil further details. To mark the occasion, Ubisoft also released a commemorative pack offering legendary skins from the game's earliest seasons – a comprehensive collection of classic cosmetics.
