Silent Hill f Trailer Introduces Hinako, Voiced by Suzie Yeung

by Nora May 01,2026

Tonight's Gamescom Opening Night Live showcased Silent Hill f with a fresh trailer, introducing English voice actress Suzie Yeung as protagonist Hinako.

The trailer begins with Hinako awakening disoriented in a shadowy chamber. As she explores what appears to be an ancient shrine, she follows a mysterious figure carrying a blue lantern before encountering the nightmarish dolls from previous footage. The preview reveals multiple eerie shrine interiors.

Another sequence depicts Hinako standing outside her childhood home during heavy rain. Her torn, bloodied clothing suggests violent encounters as a chilling female voice commands total annihilation. The tension escalates as Hinako faces a former classmate. While less graphic than previous reveals, the trailer maintains profound psychological horror.

Set in 1960s Japan, Silent Hill f presents Ryukishi07's narrative exploring the juxtaposition of beauty and terror. Announced in 2022, this standalone entry marks Japan's first M-rated Silent Hill title, featuring explicit content warnings. Producer Motoi Okamoto confirmed its action-oriented direction, stating: "By incorporating challenging combat mechanics favored by younger audiences, we aim to appeal to both series veterans and newcomers."

Silent Hill f launches September 25 for Xbox, PlayStation, and PC. Our recent five-hour preview offers deeper insights available here.
