Konami's upcoming Silent Hill Transmission will finally shed light on the long-awaited Silent Hill f. After over two years of radio silence, fans will finally get a substantial update.

Two years after its initial reveal, Silent Hill f is stepping out of the shadows. Konami announced via their official Silent Hill Twitter (X) account on March 11th that a SILENT HILL Transmission will air on March 13th, 2025, at 3:00 PM PDT. This livestream promises new details about Silent Hill f, ending a lengthy period of speculation and anticipation for fans.

While the game remained relatively quiet, Silent Hill f did receive a "19+" rating from the South Korea Game Rating Administration Committee (GRAC) in January 2025.

Silent Hill f's 2022 Debut

Initially announced during a Silent Hill Transmission on October 19th, 2022, Silent Hill f captivated audiences with its atmospheric trailer. Set in 1960s Japan, the game boasts a narrative penned by renowned visual novelist Ryukishi07, celebrated for his work on psychological horror titles like Higurashi: When They Cry.

The teaser trailer itself was a collaborative effort. Motoi Okamoto, Lead Producer of the Silent Hill series, selected Shirogumi, a prominent Japanese VFX and animation company, for its creation. In a 2023 interview with CGWorld, Shirogumi Director Hirohiro Komori emphasized their commitment to a uniquely Japanese aesthetic blending beauty and horror, meticulously detailing the process of achieving a richly realistic visual style.
