Follow Kaspar, David, and Friederike, three friends tasked with restoring order just before the grand opening. Their initial task of assisting the curator, Mr. Dietzke, takes an unexpected turn when the sneeze sends paintings flying and the meticulously arranged exhibition into disarray. Friedrich's iconic "Wanderer above the Sea of Fog" embarks on an unplanned journey through the other artworks, leading the trio on a chase to recover the painting, solve clever puzzles, and salvage the exhibition before the doors open.
