Sony Slashes PS5 and PS5 Pro Prices in 2025 Days of Play Event

Sony has exciting news for gamers as they've confirmed substantial price cuts across their product lineup during the Days of Play 2025 promotional event. Announced on the PlayStation Blog, the event is set to kick off on May 28 and will run through to June 11, starting at 12:01 am and ending at 11:59 pm local time in each region.

For those in the United States and Canada, the PlayStation 5 console bundled with Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 (available in both Digital and Standard editions) will be on sale starting at $399.99 USD / $509.99 CAD. This represents a significant saving of up to $119.99 USD / $159.99 CAD when compared to purchasing the console and game separately. In select regions across Europe and Asia, both the Digital and Standard PlayStation 5 consoles will be available at promotional prices, starting at €399.99 / £339.99 / ¥65,980. Additionally, there's a $50 USD discount on the PlayStation 5 Pro console.

Sony is also offering deals on a range of PS5 accessories and games. You can enjoy $50 USD off on the PlayStation VR2 and the PlayStation VR2 Horizon Call of the Mountain Bundle, $30 USD off on Pulse Explore wireless earbuds and the DualSense Edge wireless controller, and $20 USD off on both the Access controller and the DualSense wireless controller. Gamers can also look forward to various discounts on popular PS5 titles such as Astro Bot, MLB The Show 25, The Last of Us Part II Remastered, and LEGO Horizon Adventures.

For those interested in joining PlayStation Plus, there's an opportunity to save up to 33% on select 12-month memberships during the Days of Play event.
