Last year brought many gaming surprises, but Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 stands out as a particularly pleasant one. Its success led to a fantastic announcement: Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 3! While details are scarce, a short teaser confirms the return of fan-favorite protagonist, Demetrian Titus.
Saber Interactive, the team behind the hugely popular Space Marine 2, is once again at the helm. Specifics about the third installment remain under wraps for now, but expect more information in due course. In the meantime, Space Marine 2 continues to receive updates, with new co-op missions and a horde mode planned for this year.
Beyond Space Marine 3, Saber Interactive has a busy development slate. They're creating a new action game set in the Dungeons & Dragons universe, featuring a wave-based monster system reminiscent of Space Marine 2. Another exciting project is Turok: Origins, promising intense dinosaur battles.
It's remarkable that Space Marine 2, released only six months ago (September 2024), has already captivated over five million players.
