In April, T-Mobile unveiled two new mobile family plans designed to succeed their Go5G and Go5G Plus offerings. These new plans, named "Experience Beyond" and "Experience More," maintain the core benefits of the Go5G plans while introducing new perks such as a 5-year fixed price guarantee, increased mobile hotspot data, and T-Satellite with Starlink for the "Experience Beyond" plan. Remarkably, these enhanced plans come at a more competitive monthly rate.
T-Mobile's Experience plans are structured into two tiers. The "Experience More" plan provides 3 lines for $140 per month with AutoPay (or $185 per month without), plus taxes and fees. On the other hand, the "Experience Beyond" plan offers 3 lines for $180 per month with AutoPay (or $230 per month without). Here's a detailed breakdown of what each plan includes:
T-Mobile Experience More ($140/mo with AutoPay)
T-Mobile Experience Beyond ($180/mo with AutoPay)
The "Experience More" plan is ideal for most users, offering unlimited talk, text, and premium 5G and 4G LTE data at $45 per month per line (with AutoPay), along with a 5-year price guarantee and subscriptions to Netflix and Apple TV+. The two-year upgrade cycle suits most who don't need annual phone upgrades.
For tech enthusiasts, frequent travelers, or those who want to connect additional devices like tablets or watches, the "Experience Beyond" plan at $60 per month per line (with AutoPay) is a compelling choice. It provides annual upgrades, T-Satellite with Starlink, and a higher data cap for international use.
Through its Family Freedom initiative, T-Mobile will cover up to $800 per line to help pay off your AT&T and Verizon phones—even if they're locked—and provide a new smartphone when you trade in your device. Families can benefit from deals like four flagship smartphones and four new voice lines for just $100/month on Essentials.
Families can save 20% at T-Mobile compared to AT&T and Verizon.
***Not to be confused with your phone's financing plan***
T-Mobile's "Experience" plans are postpaid and do not require a yearly contract, allowing you to cancel your service anytime. However, if you finance a phone through T-Mobile, you are still obligated to make payments for the duration of the financing term, typically 24 months. Early payoff of the phone might mean forfeiting monthly bill credits. It's crucial to read the fine print before entering into any contractual agreement.
