Tony Hawk Insists Bam Margera Joins THPS 3+4

by Noah Mar 25,2025

Bam Margera will indeed be featured in the upcoming Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4, despite initial reports suggesting otherwise. This exciting news was shared by skateboarding media veteran Roger Bagley during an exclusive livestream of The Nine Club skateboarding podcast, as reported by Video Games Chronicle.

According to Bagley, the game was already completed when Tony Hawk himself reached out to Activision, insisting that Margera be included. Despite being told it wasn't possible, Hawk's persistence paid off. IGN has reached out to Activision for further comments on this development.

Bam Margera, known not only as a former professional skateboarder but also as a star of the Jackass film and TV series, has faced significant public challenges with alcohol and substance abuse, including multiple rehab stints. He was also fired from Jackass Forever and was the subject of a restraining order granted to director Jeff Tremaine following alleged threats.

Adding to the buzz, Hawk and Margera recently shared a video of themselves skateboarding together, sparking speculation about Margera's return to the game.

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4 was announced earlier this month and is set to launch on July 11, 2025, across multiple platforms including PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One and Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC. Developed by Iron Galaxy, the game overcame significant hurdles, including the threat of cancellation following Activision's merger of previous developer Vicarious Visions with Blizzard.
