Trinity Trigger: A Secret of Mana-Style Action RPG Now on Android

Japanese game studio Furyu Corporation has officially launched *Trinity Trigger*, an action RPG, on Android platforms. Initially released for consoles and PC in the West through Xseed Games, this new mobile version is now self-published by Furyu, bringing a fresh yet familiar experience to mobile gamers.

What’s the Story in Trinity Trigger?

In *Trinity Trigger*, you take on the role of Cyan, a young warrior destined to face off against the Warrior of Order as the chosen Warrior of Chaos. As Cyan journeys across the world of Trinitia, he forms powerful alliances—most notably with Elise and Zantis—who join him in both battle and exploration.

Alongside these companions, you’ll also be aided by the Triggers—beast-like creatures that can transform into eight distinct weapon types. Combat allows real-time character swapping, giving you the flexibility to adapt your strategy on the fly.

The narrative leans into classic JRPG elements, featuring themes of destiny, lost memories, and a world on the brink of destruction. The game structure includes traditional town hubs, NPC interactions, and deep dungeon dives.

Dungeons in *Trinity Trigger* are uniquely crafted from remnants of divine weapons known as Arma. These locations serve as challenging arenas filled with puzzles, hidden treasures, and fierce enemies. Environments vary widely—from icy tundras to vast deserts—offering visually diverse gameplay experiences.

What About the Combat?

Combat centers around the dynamic Weapon Wheel system, allowing swift transitions between different weapon types to exploit enemy weaknesses effectively. Gear upgrades are possible using materials gathered throughout your journey, enhancing both offensive and defensive capabilities.

The game features fully voiced dialogue and high-quality animated cutscenes that enrich the storytelling. Each of the three playable characters has access to nine unique weapons and a variety of skills, offering depth and customization in how you approach each battle.

If you're intrigued, *Trinity Trigger* is now available on the Google Play Store for $19.99. While it may seem steep for a mobile title, fans of deep action RPGs might find the investment worthwhile.
