Kazuma Kaneko, the visionary behind iconic series such as Shin Megami Tensei, Persona, and Devil Summoner, is back with an exciting new project titled Tsukuyomi: The Divine Hunter. Developed by COLOPL, this roguelike deck-building game is set to launch on PC, iOS, and Android, merging Kaneko's renowned dark mythological style with strategic card-based combat.
Set in a futuristic Tokyo Bay, Tsukuyomi: The Divine Hunter unfolds within The Hashira, a towering high-rise transformed into a sealed battleground. This structure is now home to gods and demons, and you, as part of the elite national defense force known as Tsukuyomi, are tasked with ascending to the top floor to confront a formidable adversary.
Fans of Kaneko's previous works will appreciate the game's setting, which artfully intertwines urban decay with supernatural horror, creating an eerie and tense atmosphere. The blend of mythology and cyberpunk themes will be evident when the game launches later this year.
In Tsukuyomi: The Divine Hunter, players will engage in a roguelike card game experience, building a deck of potent abilities while navigating a dungeon that constantly shifts. Each run through the game offers unique cards, layouts, and enemy encounters, ensuring no two playthroughs are the same.

Combat in the game is fast-paced and turn-based, demanding careful decision-making. With each turn, you have one action—either an attack or a defense move—and choosing wisely is crucial for success.
While exploring the dungeon, players will encounter branching paths and key decisions that significantly influence their journey. Each choice carries lasting consequences, impacting battles and resource availability. True to the roguelike genre, failure is harsh; losing a fight means losing all progress and starting over, so strategic planning is essential.
Tsukuyomi: The Divine Hunter is slated for release around June 30th, though this date may change. Interested players can pre-register by clicking on the preferred link below.
