Warframe Android Closed Beta Date Reveal Soon

Digital Extremes launched Warframe, its acclaimed multiplayer action-shooter RPG, for iOS in February 2024. Now, more than a year later, Android pre-registrations are open—and the game’s first Android closed beta is on the horizon. The wait is finally over!

What You Need to Know About the Warframe Android Closed Beta

The news broke on Day 2 of TennoCon 2025, with the beta expected to launch in Fall 2025. Just like the previous iOS beta, Digital Extremes will send invites to the email linked to your Warframe account.

If you haven’t already, be sure to create a Warframe account. Head over to the official site to register or pre-register right away.

Once you’re in, the closed beta offers the complete Warframe experience. Expect full controller support for a wide range of devices. Supported options include Bluetooth gamepads like the DualSense and Xbox Wireless Controller, as well as USB-connected devices such as the Razer Kishi and Backbone.

That said, there are some restrictions. Cross-platform play and in-game voice chat won’t be available during the test. Also, unlike the standard version, the Android closed beta will not feature any monetization.

Keep in mind that all beta progress will be wiped once testing concludes, so your achievements and items won’t carry over to the official mobile release.
