Wicked Genshin Impact bug allows you to deal terrible, terrible damage to bosses

Genshin Impact players eagerly awaiting the 5.4 update can currently exploit a surprising method to effortlessly defeat even the toughest bosses. This unexpected strategy utilizes the Hydro Traveler, often considered a weak DPS character, to drastically reduce enemy health.

The exploit hinges on a simple interaction (though the underlying game code remains unexplored here). By strategically placing several Xiao Lanterns (obtained during the Lantern Rite Festival) near a boss and then activating the Hydro Traveler's Elemental Burst, players witness a dramatic decrease in the boss's health.

This amplified damage stems from the Elemental Burst's increased AoE effect when interacting with objects. Deploying a large number of lanterns—a hundred, for instance—can result in damage reaching millions.

While this exploit is undoubtedly temporary and subject to future nerfs, it currently provides a remarkably easy way to conquer challenging boss encounters.
