Wuthering Waves 2.6: By Sun's Scourge, Moon's Revelation

Kuro Games has unveiled a first look at the upcoming Version 2.6 of Wuthering Waves during a special preview broadcast. Titled "By Sun’s Scourge, By Moon’s Revelation," the update is scheduled for release on all platforms on August 28.

Wuthering Waves Version 2.6 will advance the main storyline with the introduction of two new chapters: Chapter II Act VIII: By Sun’s Burning Hand and Chapter II Act IX: By Moon’s Fated Light. Additionally, players can log in during the Gifts of the Moon Roamer event to claim 10 Radiant Tides and 10 Forging Tides.

Exploration Takes Center Stage in Wuthering Waves Version 2.6

The new Sanguis Plateaus region offers a fresh landscape for the main quest and a variety of themed events. Players can engage in area exploration through Hunt of Ash and Steel and collect photos in the Prints of Plateaus event. A tower defense-style challenge called Tidal Defense Simulator will also be available.

Several other limited-time events will run at different points during Version 2.6. These include Sanguis Plateaus Travel Atlas, Gifts of the Hunt, Second Coming of Solaris (Ultra), Marks of the Wild, Moonlit Revelation, Beyond the Waves: Rinascita, and Back to Solaris.

A new collection of Echoes is joining the game, featuring The False Sovereign, Lady of the Sea, and Corrosaurus. Several Nightmare variants are also being added, such as Gulpuff, Chirpuff, Cyan-Feathered Heron, Violet-Feathered Heron, Aero Predator, and Electro Predator. New Phantom Echoes, Phantom: Fallacy of No Return and Phantom: Kerasaur, will be introduced as well.

New Combat Challenges Await

The Tactical Hologram: Lady of the Sea will put players' builds to the test in a specialized combat scenario. Meanwhile, new Resonators will be featured across two separate phases of the upcoming Resonator Convene banners.

Phase I will include Eternal Radiance on the Crown (Augusta), When Silence Tolls (Carlotta), and Till the Sea Turns Clear (The Shorekeeper). Phase II will introduce Across Time’s Waxes and Wanes (Iuno) and Through Verses and Rhythms (Ciaccona). Their signature weapons will be obtainable through corresponding Weapon Convene banners.

Phase I will showcase the Thunderflare Dominion for Augusta, The Last Dance for Carlotta, and Stellar Symphony for The Shorekeeper. Phase II will feature Moongazer’s Sigil for Iuno and Woodland Aria for Ciaccona. Furthermore, players can acquire the Hunter’s Growl Series via the Pioneer Podcast’s Insider Channel.
