You'll need a Bluetooth or Wi-Fi ELM327-based adapter, which connects easily to your vehicle's OBD2 port. Piston provides clear connection instructions accessible from the Home page after initial installation or within the Settings menu.

Compatibility and Requirements:

Piston works with OBD-II (OBDII, OBD2) and EOBD standards. A separate ELM327 adapter is required.

• USA: OBD2 mandatory for all vehicles sold since 1996.
• European Union: EOBD mandatory for petrol cars since 2001 and diesel cars since 2004.
• Australia/New Zealand: OBD2 mandatory for petrol cars since 2006 and diesel cars since 2007.

Important: Piston only accesses data supported and provided by your vehicle's OBD2 system.
