Thousand (1000) - Schnapsen

A classic three-player card game played with a 24-card deck.

Current game agreements are as follows:

- A player needs 880 points to earn a barrel.

- Points are cleared after three unsuccessful attempts to play a barrel.

- A player receives a bolt if they score zero points in a round.

- Accumulating three bolts results in a 120-point penalty.

- If a player surrenders, they receive a penalty equal to a statement, and each of the other two players receives half that amount.

The game supports the following settings:

- Winning requires accumulating more than 1000 points.

- Points are cleared upon reaching exactly 555 or -555 points.

- Playing a barrel on one's own turn without bidding from others (see below).

- New card distribution if the talon or a hand has fewer points than a set threshold.

- Ace marriage.

- Golden round.

- Joint barrel playing scenarios.

Playing a barrel on "own turn":

A player with 880 points and the "own turn" may initiate a barrel round.

The turn is considered "own" when a player holds the first right to bid.

In this case, the player automatically wins the bidding and takes the talon (regardless of other players' card strength).

If the round is lost, it counts as an unsuccessful attempt, and the player incurs a 120-point penalty.

Points are cleared after three unsuccessful attempts.

When a player has a barrel but not the "own turn," play proceeds normally, but they score no points (and no unsuccessful attempt is recorded).

It is also permitted for multiple players to simultaneously have 880 points and be eligible for a barrel game.

In such a situation, the player to play the barrel is determined by turn order.
