Alphadia III has officially launched today on Android for global players, marking the third installment in the beloved Alphadia series. Developed by EXE CREATE and published by KEMCO, the game initially debuted in Japan back in October of last year.
Set during Alphadian Year 970, Alphadia III immerses players in the climactic final stages of the Energi War, a pivotal conflict centered around the enigmatic life force known as energi. The world is divided into three major powers: the Schwarzschild Empire in the north, the Nordsheim Kingdom in the west, and the Luminea Alliance in the east, each vying for control over this powerful resource.
The story takes a dramatic turn with the introduction of Alfonso, a clone soldier. His world is shaken when a girl named Tarte arrives with the tragic news of another clone's death, sparking a pivotal moment that sets the narrative in motion.
Alphadia III embraces a traditional turn-based combat system viewed from a side perspective, rendered in a nostalgic pixel art style. Players can leverage a variety of systems including SP Skills, which accumulate during battles and can dramatically shift the tide of combat when used strategically.
The game introduces Arrays, which are essentially battle formations and strategies that unlock as you progress, offering diverse tactical options tailored to different combat scenarios.
A unique feature in Alphadia III is the Energi Crock. By depositing surplus items into it throughout your journey, it gradually produces Energi Elements. These elements can be exchanged for valuable gear or other rewards at special shops.
Throughout the game, players will encounter various factions such as Deval, a peacekeeping alliance, and elite military units like Rosenkreutz from Nordsheim. The game also showcases different energi clone models, including the Berger Series from Nordsheim and the Delta Series from Schwarzschild.
Beyond its main storyline, Alphadia III offers a wealth of side content to explore, and it is optimized for controller use. You can purchase the full version from the Google Play Store for $7.99, or opt for the freemium version on Android, which includes ads.
