WordCrex is an engaging and equitable Scrabble variant that's loved by many! Are you someone with a knack for language? Do you always spot the highest-scoring words? If this sounds appealing, then WordCrex is the perfect word game for you!
In each turn, you're dealt seven letters, and your challenge is to form words that will earn you the maximum points possible. The thrill comes from the fact that your opponent is given the same seven letters and is also striving to score as many points as they can!
So, can you outscore your opponent using the same letters?
Here's an example:
The letters you have are: R N I W S E N
You play the word WINNERS, scoring an impressive 134 points.
Your opponent plays WIRES, earning 47 points.
You win that round!
The word WINNERS is then placed on the game board, and the next turn begins.
This means the player who scores the highest with the same set of seven letters wins the round. It's all about strategy and skill, making it a fair competition!
WordCrex can be enjoyed with two, three, or four players.
This popular game is played in over 20 languages around the world!
The two English dictionaries available for use are SOWPODS and TWL.
