"Spite & Malice," sometimes called "Cat and Mouse" or "Screw Your Neighbor," is a classic card game for two to four participants. It is an adaptation of the late 19th-century European game "Crapette" and functions as a competitive form of solitaire with multiple variations playable using two or more standard decks. The game is a derivative of "Russian Bank." Its commercial edition is sold under the name "Skip-Bo." Unlike the retail version, "Spite & Malice" uses traditional playing cards.
The goal of the game is to be the first player to get rid of all cards from their own deck by playing them in sorted sequence.
