Carplounge V4 Autopilot

Introducing the Carplounge Autopilot, a revolutionary system designed to elevate your BaitBoat experience using an Android tablet or phone. The essential software, available for free on the Google Play Store, is compatible with any Android device equipped with Bluetooth. This innovative system connects your tablet to the boat through a Bluetooth transmitter box, allowing you to control the boat effortlessly via a touchscreen interface.

In manual mode, the Carplounge Autopilot functions just like a traditional BaitBoat, offering intuitive control through the touchscreen. The real-time display on the map shows the boat's position, route, and orientation, thanks to the integrated compass function. Moreover, you can pinpoint and save promising fishing spots identified with the echo sounder, using the built-in GPS to label them as "jetty left," "spot 1," "home," and so forth.

Switch to autopilot mode, and you can select and combine these points into a customized route with specific actions such as opening the left or right hatch, releasing bait, or activating the lights. Imagine setting up a sequence like this: 1.) Navigate to "Sandbank" and open the right hopper upon arrival, 2.) Proceed to "Spot 2" and open the left hopper, 3.) Return to your fishing spot and signal with a blink. The boat will then follow this route autonomously, allowing you to store an almost unlimited number of spots and routes. Thanks to cutting-edge measurement technology, including position and acceleration sensors, as well as the latest GPS and compass technology, the boat navigates with precision, achieving 90% accuracy within 30cm!

The Carplounge Autopilot also smartly manages line tension while the boat is in motion, especially when deploying two rods to different spots simultaneously. The built-in electronics detect line tension, enabling the boat to adjust its course against the pull, maintaining a direct path to the target without unnecessary turns that could cause line bends.

While the autopilot replaces the traditional remote control, we offer the flexibility to connect a remote control to the system. This means you can choose to operate the BaitBoat via your tablet or the remote control. For optimal app control, all Android tablets with Bluetooth are supported, with our app currently optimized for 10-inch tablets, allowing direct steering via the touchscreen.

Automatic software updates ensure you receive new features, changes, and extensions promptly, without the need to return your autopilot or boat for service. The app updates seamlessly, just like any other tablet or smartphone application.
