FortiToken Mobile

FortiToken Mobile is an advanced One Time Password (OTP) generator app designed for Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) on your mobile device. This OATH-compliant application supports both event-based and time-based OTPs, serving as a client component in Fortinet's comprehensive, secure, user-friendly, and cost-effective authentication solution. To validate these OTPs, you'll need to integrate with FortiOS, FortiAuthenticator, or FortiToken Cloud as the server/service component.

Privacy and Control:

Rest assured, FortiToken Mobile respects your privacy and control over your device. It does not alter your phone's settings, capture photos or videos, record or transmit audio, nor access your emails. It also cannot view your browsing history. FortiToken Mobile only seeks your permission to send notifications or adjust settings. Furthermore, it lacks the capability to remotely wipe your device. The app's visibility is limited to checking your OS version for compatibility purposes. During manual installations of FortiToken tokens, 3rd Party tokens, and Token Transfer, you may need to enter sensitive information like your email address or token seeds.

While FortiToken Mobile requires your explicit permission to make changes, it does request certain permissions for its operations:

• Camera Access: To scan QR codes for seamless token activation.
• TouchID/FaceID: For enhancing app security.
• Internet Access: Essential for token activation and receiving push notifications.
• "Send Feedback by Email": To automatically fill the sender's email field.
• File Sharing: To prepare attachments for the "Send Feedback by Email" feature.
• Keeping the Phone Awake: To prevent data corruption during internal database upgrades.

By installing FortiToken Mobile, you consent to all the terms mentioned above.
