Cards 9 through 2 are each worth 5 points.

Each player is dealt 13 cards, which must be arranged into four specific groups: three groups of 3 cards each and one group of 4 cards. The heart of Hazari lies in comparing 3-card combinations, with the rankings from highest to lowest as follows:

Troy: The ultimate combination.
Colour Run: A sequence within the same suit.
Run: A sequence of any suit.
Colour: Three cards of the same suit.
Pair: Two cards of the same rank.
Indie: Three cards of different ranks and suits.
