Fantastic news for Animal Crossing fans! Following the announcement of the online version's closure, Nintendo has revealed a release date for the anticipated offline successor: Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete. This standalone version will launch on Android devices December 3rd.

Key Details:

The free-to-play Pocket Camp app will officially sunset on November 29th. Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete offers a revamped experience, available as a one-time purchase. Pre-purchase before January 31st, 2025, secures the game for $9.99; afterwards, the price increases to $19.99.

This comprehensive offline edition bundles years' worth of seasonal content, events, and items accumulated since the original 2017 launch. Players can still design their dream campsite, choosing from over 10,000 items.

New Features:

Exciting new features include customizable Camper Cards, acting as personalized trading cards showcasing player style. Players can select poses and colors, and even exchange cards with others. A new social hub, Whistle Pass, provides a gathering place for Camper Card friends, complete with musical entertainment. Furthermore, players can transfer their existing Pocket Camp save data until June 2nd, 2025.

While offline, the game will require occasional internet connectivity for time synchronization and account verification. All seasonal events, from Halloween to summer festivals, will remain.
