Deadlock's February Update: Minor Tweaks, Major Impacts
Valve continues its steady stream of Deadlock updates, this time focusing on smaller adjustments affecting four heroes and several items. This marks the fifth update of 2025 and the first for February.
Calico suffered a significant nerf. Her Return to Shadows ability received a ten-second cooldown increase, and 20% of its speed boost was shifted to tier 2 (T2). Additionally, the damage output of her T2 Leaping Slash was reduced.
Sinclair received a visual overhaul with updated sounds and animations. More significantly, his Rabbit Hex ability is now area-of-effect (AoE). Holliday and Wraith also experienced nerfs, though specifics weren't detailed.
Item changes include a reduction in stacks for Ammo Scavenger, eliminating its health bonus. Extra Stamina and Restorative Shot no longer offer bonuses to fire rate and weapon damage, respectively.

Valve has adopted a more flexible update schedule, releasing patches as needed rather than adhering to a fixed timetable. This latest update is a prime example of this new, agile approach to development.
