Gamescom Latam 2024 Crowns "What the Car?" Best Mobile Game
Gamescom Latam, the inaugural gaming event held in Sao Paulo, Brazil, successfully showcased Latin America's burgeoning gaming scene and celebrated global industry achievements. A highlight was the game awards ceremony, presented in partnership with the BIG Festival.
The awards featured 13 categories, with finalists selected by a panel of 49 judges. All nominees were playable at the Sao Paulo Expo, notably with mobile and PC games showcased together, highlighting the equal importance of both platforms.
The coveted "Best Mobile Game" award went to Triband ApS's "What the Car?", a title previously featured in an article highlighting lesser-known but exceptional games. This win further solidifies its position and may require an update to that original list.
