Cookie Run: Kingdom's latest update introduces two new Cookies and a thrilling new storyline. Shadow Milk Cookie and Candy Apple Cookie join the battle, bringing unique abilities and strategic depth to gameplay. Episode 7: Spire of Shadows unfolds, presenting fresh challenges centered around the Confusion and Distortion mechanics.

Shadow Milk Cookie, a formidable Beast Cookie, unleashes his "Puppet Show" skill, targeting low-HP enemies with periodic damage culminating in a devastating Grand Finale that affects all enemies and applies Taint for increased damage. Even after defeat, he transforms into a Shadow Form, continuing his puppet attacks.

Candy Apple Cookie utilizes a giant lollipop to crush foes, reducing their attack and defense while simultaneously creating HP shields and boosting ally attack. The shards from his lollipop further amplify enemy damage taken, solidifying his position as a powerful ally.

The Spire of Shadows storyline incorporates the Confusion and Distortion mechanics from Stage 7-4. Confusion increases damage taken by the team, while simultaneously empowering Shadow Milk and Candy Apple Cookies. The Domain of Deceit effect, active in specific stages, reduces the damage these Cookies receive, adding a strategic layer to combat.

Players will also accompany Pure Vanilla Cookie on his journey to the Spire of All Knowledge, uncovering memories and secrets pivotal to the Cookie World's destiny. Completing this episode unlocks Bear Jelly Balloon expeditions, providing access to Yeast Ore and increased Rainbow Pearls in the Trade Harbor.

A new event, Monster Menace, offers extra rewards such as Soulstones and Beascuits for clearing stages. The Monster Menace Marathon provides additional rewards even after the event's conclusion for completing a set number of stages.
