In MLB The Show 25, even the lush green fields of San Diego can feel a little confining. Luckily, San Diego Studio's baseball sim gives you the freedom to chase greener pastures. Here's how to orchestrate a trade in MLB The Show 25's Road to the Show mode.

After conquering high school in MLB The Show 25's Road to the Show, you'll choose between college or going pro. Either path leads to the majors, offering a known starting point. But the unpredictable nature of professional sports often calls for a change of scenery.

Previous iterations of Road to the Show allowed players to directly request a trade. This option is absent in MLB The Show 25. However, there's a clever workaround to expedite a move.

Navigate to the Sliders section within Road to the Show settings. You'll find a "Trade Frequency" option controlling the frequency of trades within the mode. Maximize this setting to increase the likelihood of trades, including your own.

Increased trade frequency doesn't guarantee immediate offers; other teams must notice your talent first. Once your performance generates league-wide buzz, your agent will alert you to incoming trade proposals. Carefully consider your options, as there's no guarantee of further offers. Once you've found a suitable team, accept the trade. To avoid further trade requests, adjust the Trade Frequency slider back down after settling into your new team.
