Elden Ring Hero 'Let Me Solo Her' Takes on New Challenge

Elden Ring's famed "Let Me Solo Her," renowned for his countless Malenia victories, shifts his focus to the Shadow of the Erdtree expansion's formidable boss, Messmer the Impaler. This celebrated YouTuber, known online as Klein Tsuboi, has assisted countless players in conquering Malenia since Elden Ring's 2022 launch.

Malenia, Blade of Miquella, was long considered Elden Ring's most challenging boss. However, Messmer the Impaler, introduced in the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC, has quickly earned a similar reputation. Adding to the difficulty, Messmer's fight is mandatory for story progression, posing a significant hurdle for solo players attempting to complete the expansion.

Enter Let Me Solo Her. Having recently concluded a "Final Malenia soloing stream," he's now dedicated to aiding players against Messmer, as evidenced by his latest video, aptly titled "Let Me Solo Him." This transition was anticipated, as he hinted at a Malenia retirement earlier this year, prior to the Shadow of the Erdtree release.

True to his legendary style, Let Me Solo Her tackles Messmer armed only with two katanas, a jar helmet, and a loincloth. Despite this minimalist approach, he consistently delivers devastating damage. His impressive record includes over 6,000 Malenia defeats since Elden Ring's launch. The release of Shadow of the Erdtree and the introduction of Messmer piqued his interest, particularly given the DLC's perceived difficulty.

Following the DLC's release, some players voiced concerns about its high difficulty, even advising against purchase. In response, FromSoftware issued an update aimed at improving the overall experience. Publisher Bandai Namco also suggested leveling up the Scadutree Blessing to aid in defeating the new bosses.
