Epic Games Store's Mobile App Gets a Massive Upgrade
The Epic Games Store mobile application is undergoing a significant transformation. This update introduces nearly 20 new third-party games and expands the popular free games program to a global audience.
The rollout includes the highly anticipated free games program, now available worldwide on Android and within the European Union on iOS. This month's free offering is Dungeon of the Endless: Apogee, redeemable until February 20th, followed by Bloons TD6.

This update also prioritizes cross-platform functionality. Players can seamlessly access their Epic accounts and game libraries across both Android and iOS devices, thanks to a new automatic update feature.
A Strategic Move by Epic
Epic's commitment to its mobile storefront is evident. While facing competition from established platforms like Steam on PC, Epic's free games strategy aims to attract a larger mobile audience. Their developer-friendly revenue-sharing model remains a key differentiator in their ongoing dispute with Apple.
