While Palworld is still in early access, Pocketpair ensures players stay hooked by releasing updates that feature unique pals and exciting new islands. Although the first expansion island, Sakurajima, offered only a handful of new pals, the new Palworld Feybreak update introduces over 20 new pals.
However, players who have just started the Palworld Feybreak update might be confused about the exact location of Feybreak Island. Since the Palpagos Islands archipelago is vast and expansive, spotting islands far from the starter spawning areas can be challenging. Follow this guide to learn the best route to reach Feybreak Island in Palworld.
Feybreak is a large island located in the far southwest corner of the Palpagos Islands archipelago. You can spot Feybreak Island from the southern coast of Mount Obsidian. To reach Feybreak Island in Palworld, start your journey from Fisherman’s Point, a fast travel location on the southern coast of Mount Obsidian. From there, use a flying or water mount to cross the ocean and reach Feybreak Island.
Players who haven’t unlocked the Mount Obsidian region will first need to reach this fiery island. Mount Obsidian is among the tallest locations in Palworld and is visible from most areas in the game. Head southeast and prepare heat-resistant armor to unlock fast travel points in Mount Obsidian.
If you don’t mind a long journey, you can head directly to Feybreak Island from Sea Breeze Archipelago instead of stopping at Fisherman’s Point in Mount Obsidian.
The Feybreak update is the largest expansion Palworld has received to date. This island is over three times the size of Sakurajima island, which was released in Summer 2024. Feybreak Island is populated with high-level new pals ready to attack any unprepared players unaware of their strength.
The first thing you should do on Feybreak Island in Palworld is activate the Scorched Ashland fast travel point on the island's northern coast. While exploring the island, you’ll encounter powerful pals and a new faction of enemies called the Feybreak Warriors. Unlocking the Scorched Ashland fast travel point ensures you can quickly return to the island if you die.
Using flying mounts is prohibited on Feybreak Island. Attempting to fly triggers the warning, “Entering Anti-Air Zone! Dismount your Pal to avoid being shot down.” This warning is literal, as homing missiles will attack you if you stay mounted. Using fast ground mounts like Fenglope is recommended for exploring Feybreak Island until you disable all missile launchers scattered around the area.
Once you’ve explored the island, you can either capture the newly added pals or collect new resources like Chromalite and Hexolite. These resources are essential for crafting equipment and building new structures introduced in the Palworld Feybreak update.
When you’ve gathered new pals and are ready for a challenge, you can raid the Feybreak Tower boss, Bjorn & Bastigor. However, unlike other tower bosses, you must first defeat three alpha pals — Dazzy Noct, Caprity Noct, and Omascul — and claim their bounty tokens to earn the right to face the Feybreak Tower boss.
