FIFA Is Teaming Up With Konami's eFootball For FIFAe World Cup 2024!

Konami and FIFA's surprising esports collaboration: The FIFAe Virtual World Cup 2024!

After years of competition between FIFA and PES, a surprising partnership has emerged. FIFA and Konami's eFootball are joining forces to host the FIFAe Virtual World Cup 2024.

In-Game Qualifiers Now Live on eFootball!

The tournament features two divisions: Console (PS4 and PS5) and Mobile. Eighteen countries are vying for the final spots: Brazil, Japan, Argentina, Portugal, Spain, England, France, Costa Rica, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Morocco, Netherlands, Poland, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, Thailand, and Turkey.

In-game qualifiers, running in three stages, are live from October 10th to 20th. National Nomination Phases for the 18 countries follow from October 28th to November 3rd.

The offline final round will conclude in late 2024; the exact date is yet to be announced. Even if your country isn't among the 18, you can still participate in the qualifiers (up to Round 3) and earn rewards like 50 eFootball coins, 30,000 XP, and more.

The Unexpected FIFA x Konami Partnership

The collaboration is particularly noteworthy given the long-standing rivalry between the two companies. EA Sports and FIFA ended their decade-long partnership in 2022, reportedly due to a significant disagreement over licensing fees. This led to the release of EA Sports FC 24 without the FIFA branding.

Now, FIFA has found a new partner in Konami's eFootball for the FIFAe World Cup 2024.

Download eFootball from the Google Play Store and participate in the current event featuring a special Bruno Fernandes design and an 8x match experience multiplier for faster Dream Team progression. Don't miss out!
