While these games are already available digitally on Switch and other platforms, this marks their first physical release in the US.

Final Fantasy VII, a landmark title from 1997, was the series' first entry on a non-Nintendo console. It stars former SOLDIER Cloud Strife and his allies as they combat the sinister Shinra corporation. This version includes a 3x speed mode, an option to disable random encounters, and a battle enhancement feature.

Final Fantasy VIII Remastered is an upgraded version of the 1999 PS1 classic. Players follow Squall and his SeeD companions as they confront the sorceress Edea, who is wreaking havoc worldwide. This edition offers several battle assist options, a 3x speed boost, and the ability to turn off random encounters.

Upon its debut in 2000, Final Fantasy IX served as a nostalgic return to the medieval fantasy style of the series' first six installments. The story centers on Zidane and a band of performers who "kidnap" Princess Garnet—who actually wishes to escape her unstable mother, the queen.

The game's visuals have been refined for modern screens, and new features include an auto-save function and seven gameplay boosters, such as high-speed mode and an option to avoid random battles.
