Hearthstone Battlegrounds Season 8: A Deep Dive into New Features and Updates

Hearthstone's Season 8 has arrived, bringing exciting changes to Battlegrounds! New heroes, minions, and cards are introduced alongside gameplay improvements. Let's explore the highlights.

The biggest addition is Trinkets, powerful new buffs available on turns 6 and 9. With 56 Lesser and 60 Greater Trinkets, offering diverse options influenced by your hero and board state, there's something for every strategy. You even get to choose from four Trinkets each time!

Meet Marin the Manager, the new hero! Marin's special ability lets you acquire a Trinket a turn earlier, giving you a significant advantage.

Minions and Spells Rebalanced:

Season 8 also features a minion refresh. While 41 minions are rotated out, 22 returning favorites and 27 brand-new minions join the fray, along with 2 new Tavern spells. This rebalancing ensures a dynamic and engaging meta.

Four exciting new cards are introduced:

• Free Travel Winner (Tier 2): A 2/2 minion that disappears after combat, rewarding you with a Triple Reward.
• Inspiring Underdog (Tier 4): Boosts your lower-tier minions.
• Lucky Egg (Tier 5): Transforms into a Golden Tier 3 minion.
• Sun Screener (Tier 6): A 10/1 minion granting Divine Shield to your three leftmost minions and your opponent's.

Marin Resort's Treasure Hunt Event:

From August 27th to September 17th, participate in the Marin Resort's Treasure Hunt event. Complete Event Quests to earn 14 packs, including those from Perils in Paradise and Whizbang's Workshop.
