Hearthstone Battlegrounds Season 9: Cosmic Overhaul Arrives December 3rd!

Get ready for a celestial shake-up! Hearthstone's Battlegrounds mode is launching Season 9 on December 3rd, bringing a universe of changes. Expect a revamped minion lineup, flashy new tech, and a cosmic theme that'll leave you starstruck.

Key Changes:

• Bob's Technotavern Overhaul: Prepare for a complete refresh of Bob's shop! This season resets ratings and eliminates Trinkets, replacing them with exciting new Battlegrounds Tokens.
• Battlegrounds Tokens: Use these tokens during hero selection to reroll your hero options. No more settling for undesirable heroes!
• New Heroes: Three brand-new heroes are joining the fray, with Farseer Nobundo already generating considerable buzz with his unique abilities.
• Minion Pool Revamp: Nearly 90 minions and Tavern spells are entering or leaving the pool, dramatically altering gameplay strategies.
• Damage Cap Adjustment (Solo): Solo Battlegrounds games will feature a modified damage cap: 5 damage in the early game, increasing to 10 on turn 4 and 15 on turn 8. This cap is removed once you reach the top 4.
• Phased Minion Releases: The update will roll out minions in phases:
  • December 3rd: Beasts, Dragons, Quilboar, Pirates, Naga, and Mechs.
  • December 5th: Murlocs and Demons.
  • December 9th: Undead and Elementals.

Minion Reveal Schedule:

• November 20th: Naga and Dragon reveals.
• November 21st: Quilboar and Beast reveals.
• November 22nd: Pirate and Duos-only reveals.
• November 25th: Murloc and Demon reveals.
• November 26th: Elemental and Undead reveals.
• December 2nd: Preview event streams and 31.2 patch notes.
