While there's no official word yet, Insider Gaming reports suggest that a Hogwarts Legacy: Definitive Edition is slated for a 2025 release. This anticipated director's cut is expected to feature an additional 10-15 hours of new DLC content. This expansion is rumored to lay the groundwork for the sequel's narrative and enhance connections to the upcoming HBO adaptation. At present, the only DLC available for Hogwarts Legacy is The Dark Arts Legacy Pack, which is priced at $19.99. It includes the Thestral Mount, Dark Arts Cosmetic Set, and the Dark Arts Battle Arena. This raises the question: will Hogwarts Legacy 2 launch with new DLC, or will fans have to wait as they did for the original game?
