If you're a JRPG aficionado, you're likely well-acquainted with the renowned publisher Kemco. Known for delivering a plethora of cult classics from Japan, Kemco consistently rolls out new and intriguing titles. Their latest offering, Alphadia III, is now available on Android and iOS, just in time for your weekend gaming sessions.
If the name rings a bell, chances are you've already delved into Alphadia I and II. However, Alphadia III doesn't follow their timeline; instead, it serves as a prequel to the Energi War saga you experienced in the previous installments. This time, you'll follow the journey of an Energi clone named Alfonso as he seeks to uncover his path to freedom.
Building on the deep turn-based combat system of its predecessors, Alphadia III introduces SP Skills, which can dramatically shift the tide of battle. Alongside these, new mechanics such as Arrays and Energi Crocks enrich the gameplay. Arrays expand your strategic options, while Energi Crocks allow you to recycle magical items into Energi. Additionally, you'll command your own ship, which you can upgrade into a seaplane, adding a new dimension to your adventure.

While SP Skills are familiar from other series like Dragon Quest, their integration into Alphadia III promises to enhance your tactical gameplay. The Energi Crock system and Arrays further diversify your strategic options, making each battle a unique challenge.
Alphadia III builds upon the foundations laid by the first two games, though some fans might miss the forward progression in the timeline. Nevertheless, it offers a fresh take on the Energi War narrative. Coupled with stunning pixel art graphics, this game provides an immersive experience with plenty of content to explore.
