Yes, you read that right—the Cow, previously just a charming background figure in a single Mario Kart track, is now a playable racer, and the internet is buzzing with excitement, memes, and fanart galore.

But here's where things get deliciously intriguing. In the Nintendo Direct 2 trailer, Mario was seen chowing down on a burger. Burgers, as we know, are typically made from beef. IGN confirmed that Cow can indeed eat all these items, including the controversial burger. Interestingly, while other racers might change costumes upon consuming these foods, Cow doesn't seem to undergo any transformation. This raises questions: Is Cow simply enjoying a tasty meal? IGN reached out to Nintendo for clarification but hasn't received a response yet. It's likely because they're swamped at their New York event, and not because this is an outlandish question to pose to their PR team. Right?
