Morefun Studios' resurrected Hitori no Shita, now titled The Hidden Ones, is slated for a 2025 release. This 3D action brawler, based on the popular webcomic, features parkour, intense brawling, and a gritty aesthetic. A pre-alpha test is scheduled for January.
The game follows Zhang Chulan, a young martial artist whose grandfather's techniques become highly sought after. The recently released gameplay trailer showcases impressive combat, including parkour sequences and energy projectile exchanges, and features secondary protagonist Wang Ye.
A New Identity
Information on The Hidden Ones has been scarce, adding to the confusion surrounding its multiple names. Despite this, the game's darker, more grounded visual style sets it apart from other 3D ARPGs. The game's success hinges on its ability to attract players unfamiliar with the source material.
