At the end of each Marvel Rivals Season, your Competitive rank is reduced by seven tiers. For example, a Diamond I player will begin the next Season at Gold II. Players ending the Season at Bronze III remain at Bronze III.

When the Rank Reset Occurs

The Competitive rank reset happens at the end of each Season. Season 1, starting January 10th (at the time of writing), is when the first reset is expected.

Competitive mode unlocks at player level 10. You earn points to climb through the tiers; every 100 points advances you to the next tier.

Here's the complete rank structure:

Bronze (III-I)Silver (III-I)Gold (III-I)Platinum (III-I)Diamond (III-I)Grandmaster (III-I)EternityOne Above All

Grandmaster I players can continue earning points for the Eternity and One Above All tiers. One Above All requires a top 500 leaderboard position.

Season Length in Marvel Rivals

While Season 0 was shorter, future Seasons are expected to last approximately three months. New Seasons will introduce new heroes (like the Fantastic Four) and maps, providing ample time to climb the ranks.

This concludes our overview of the Marvel Rivals rank reset system.
